旧ソ連に実在した「忠犬パルマ」のエピソードをモチーフにした2020年の映画「ハチとパルマの物語」の続編。忠実なジャーマン・シェパード犬のパルマとその家族が大自然を舞台に繰り広げる新たな冒険を描き出す。 大きな航空会社を辞めたラザレフは、家族と共に田舎へ移り住む。平穏な毎日を過ごしていたある日、小さなこぐまが彼らの生活に飛び込んでくる。しかし、こぐまは地元の密猟者に連れ去られてしまい、犬のパルマがこぐまを助けに駆けつける。パルマとこぐまは家に帰る道を探し、野生動物やハンター、嵐の危険に満ちた森の中を奔走する。一方、パルマとこぐまを探しに向かったラザレフ家は、本当の家族とは何かを見つめ直していく。 キャストにはコーリャ役のレオニド・バーソフ、ラザレフ役のビクトル・ドブロヌラボフ、ニーナ役のバレリア・フョドロビチ、セルゲイ役のウラジミール・イリン、さらに日本生まれの子役アナスタシアら、前作のメンバーが再結集。撮影監督として多くの映画やドラマに携わってきたウラジミール・コンダウロフが長編初監督を務め、前作の監督・脚本を手がけたアレクサンドル・ドモガロフ・Jr.が脚本を担当。

This film, while retaining the emotional impact of its predecessor based on a true story, depicts a new adventure for the loyal German Shepherd Palma and the boy Kolya. The new setting is vast, untamed nature. Their earnest courage and bond will once again move all of Japan to warm tears. The cast reunites familiar faces from the previous film, including Leonid Basov, Viktor Dobronravov, Valeriya Fedorovich, Vladimir Ilyin, and Anastasia, a trilingual child actress born in Japan. The director is Vladimir Kondaurov, a newcomer with solid skills as a cinematographer, making his feature-length debut with this work. While inheriting the spirit of the previous film, he has woven a new story for Palma on a grand scale. After quitting a major airline, Lazarev moves to the countryside with his family. Their days pass peacefully until one day, a small bear cub stumbles into their lives. When the cub is taken by local poachers, the loyal dog Palma rushes to its rescue. Palma and the bear cub must find their way home through a forest fraught with dangers from wild animals, hunters, and storms. Meanwhile, the Lazarev family, who set out to search for Palma and the cub, are reminded of what it truly means to be a family.
