1960年代アメリカ、大都市郊外の隣同士の家に住む親友のセリーヌとアリス。お互い裕福な家庭で同い年の一人息子を持つふたりは、完璧で幸せな生活を送っていた。しかしある日、セリーヌの息子が不幸な事故に遭ったことで関係性は一変。喪失感に苦しむセリーヌは、次第にアリスの息子・テオに心を通わせるようになっていく。その様子に疑念を持ち始めるアリス。彼女は私の家族を奪おうとしているのか？それともただの思い違いか…。徐々にアリスの行動はエスカレートしていき、やがてふたりは狂気と妄想の渦に飲み込まれていくー。

In 1960s America, best friends Celine and Alice live next door to each other in a suburban neighborhood. Both come from wealthy families and each has an only son the same age, living a perfect, happy life. But one day, Celine's son is involved in a tragic accident, and their relationship changes completely. Consumed by loss, Celine gradually begins to grow close to Alice's son, Theo. Alice starts to grow suspicious. Is she trying to take my family away? Or is it all just a misunderstanding... Alice's behavior escalates step by step, and soon both women are swallowed into a vortex of madness and delusion.
