「婚前特急」「まともじゃないのは君も一緒」の前田弘二が監督・脚本を手がけ、これまで多くの作品で組んできた宇野祥平を主演に迎えたサスペンスコメディ。犯罪に手を染める青年が、突然現れた謎の男から尽くされ翻弄される姿を描き出す。 車の窃盗団のメンバーである青年・小田は、ある夜、犯行現場で見知らぬ男に拉致されてしまう。男は小田に「これからは時間をドブに捨てず、真っ当に生きるんだ」と告げ、マンションの鍵を渡す。小田は男の正体も目的もわからないまま、彼と奇妙な共同生活を送りはじめる。男は小田を“いい男”にしようと、執拗なほどの教訓と善意を押し付けてくる。 「罪の声」「俳優 亀岡拓次」など数々の映画に出演してきた宇野祥平が、素性を明かさず若者を教育する中年男性のおかしみと恐怖を唯一無二の存在感で体現。ドラマ「街並み照らすヤツら」「ホットスポット」など話題作に立て続けに出演している萩原護が小田役を務めた。
I'll make you a good man. Identity unknown. Purpose unknown--- A suspense comedy about being devoted to by a mysterious man. Directed by Koji Maeda, who has won numerous awards for films like "Before Marriage" ('11) and "Just Remembering" ('21), this suspense comedy stars Yohei Uno. Oda is a young man who is a member of a car theft ring and has turned to crime. One night, at a crime scene, he is suddenly abducted by a stranger. "From now on, don't waste your time; live an honest life," the man tells him, handing him the keys to an apartment. Thus begins the bizarrely strange cohabitation of an unidentified man and a young criminal. The man persistently imposes lessons and goodwill on Oda, trying to make him a "good man." Who on earth is he? What is his true purpose? Devoted to and pushed around by a mysterious man. A startling 94 minutes.
