チベットの若手女性監督カンドゥルンが、自身の子ども時代の夏の記憶をモチーフに撮りあげたドラマ。 映画監督を目指す若い女性サムキは、いまは離れてしまった少女時代の友人ラモとの記憶を映画にすることになる。中学進学をきっかけに離れた故郷チベットに戻ってきた彼女は、久々に父と再会する。映画の撮影が進むなか、大人になったラモがサムキの前に姿を現すが、サムキは彼女の記憶が自分と違うことに気づく。 「映画のなかで映画を撮影している」というメタ・シネマ構造を使った大胆な構成とシンプルな語り口を通して、虚実のあわいから見えてくる真実を浮かび上がらせていくとともに、カンドゥルン監督自身の故郷でもあるチベットの都市ラサの若者たちの姿をリアルに描き出す。タイトルに含まれる「リンカ」は、チベット語で夏のピクニックや庭園を意味する言葉。アジアの若手監督の登竜門と言われる香港国際映画祭ヤング・シネマ・コンペティションにて最優秀作品賞と国際批評家連盟賞をダブル受賞。2025年・第38回東京国際映画祭「アジアの未来」部門では「一つの夜と三つの夏」のタイトルで上映された。

A drama by young Tibetan female director Khandroon, inspired by memories of her own childhood summers. Samkyi, a young woman aspiring to be a filmmaker, decides to make a film about her memories of Lhamo, a childhood friend from whom she has grown apart. Returning to her hometown in Tibet, which she left to attend middle school, she reunites with her father after a long time. As filming progresses, an adult Lhamo appears before Samkyi, but Samkyi realizes Lhamo's memories differ from her own. Through the bold structure of a meta-cinema, where a film is being made within the film, and a simple narrative style, the truth emerging from the space between reality and fiction is brought to light, while realistically portraying the youth of Lhasa, the Tibetan city that is also director Khandroon's hometown. "Linka" in the title is a Tibetan word meaning summer picnic or garden. The film won both the Best Film Award and the International Federation of Film Critics Award at the Hong Kong International Film Festival's Young Cinema Competition, considered a gateway for young Asian directors. It was screened under the title "One Night, Three Summers" in the "Asia's Future" section of the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2025.
