This film intricately weaves between present and past, depicting the youth and loss of a novice newspaper reporter. It is based on a script written by director Miyasaka during his high school years, which he began producing after entering university by gathering members of his film circle. Yoko Akita, who has been expanding her roles in recent years with works such as 'Psychicker Z' (2022, directed by Akiyoshi Kimura) and 'Unforgettable Memories' (scheduled for 2022, directed by Shin Sonoda), plays the protagonist Michiko Iu. Ryoji Kurosawa, making his film debut, plays the junior high school boy Kota Oka whom Michiko meets. Yuki Yagi, who has attracted attention since her child actor days and recently appeared in the morning drama 'Hiyokko' and 'A Little Night Music' (2019, directed by Rikiya Imaizumi), plays Michiko's childhood self. Yuzumi Shintani, a former member of the idol group Sakura Gakuin who starred in 'The World of Maki' (2022, directed by Akihiko Shiota) and recently appeared in 'The End of the Pale Hour' (2022, directed by Ryutaro Nakagawa), plays Michiko's childhood friend Yoshiko Atsuo. Kazuki Miyasaka, who was 19 years old at the time of production and served as director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and editor, made his feature-length debut with this film. He continues to make films while currently studying theoretical physics in a doctoral program at the University of Tokyo.
