A documentary capturing the spoken-word poet iidabii, a so-called 'second-generation religious believer' raised under a specific faith, as he bares his past, wounds, and inner conflicts. iidabii unleashes the power of words and the cry of his soul with his entire being. Growing up in a religion practiced by his parents, he spent a childhood where even questioning was forbidden, until he encountered 'poetry.' For him, burdened with a complex background and a stutter, poetry became a weapon to shout his emotions in silence and a means to redefine himself. His poetry resonates deeply with those living on the fringes of society. This film records iidabii's life journey and creative process over three years, weaving a story about faith, family, language, and freedom. Directed by Matsui Shuhiro and Tsuda Tomomi, who have worked on numerous television documentary programs.
