テレビアニメ「クレヨンしんちゃん」の劇場版第33作。妖怪の国に迷い込んでしまった野原家が、どこか懐かしくも奇々怪々な世界で繰り広げる大冒険を描く。 ある夏の日、日本各地で怪奇現象が相次いで目撃され、世間を騒がせていた。そんな中、野原家は秋田県にあるひろしの実家に帰省することになる。旅の支度をしていると、のんきに妖怪ごっこを楽しむしんのすけの姿を、庭の物陰から覗く怪しい影があった。秋田に到着した野原家は祖父・銀の介の家で穏やかな時間を過ごすが、翌朝、しんのすけたちが泊まっていた部屋に「おばけーしょん村」のチラシがばらまかれるという奇妙な事件が起こる。しんのすけの希望でおばけーしょん村へ行くことになった野原家は、道中の人里離れた山奥で奇妙な空間に迷い込んでしまう。そこは、人間が立ち入ることを禁じられた「妖怪の国」への入り口だった。 テレビアニメ「クレヨンしんちゃん」の演出を2022年から担当する渡辺正樹が映画シリーズ初監督を務め、テレビアニメ版の脚本を手がけてきた中村能子が脚本を担当。俳優の伊藤沙莉が、妖怪の国でしんのすけたちを導く九尾の狐の妖怪「やこ」役を務めるほか、お笑いコンビ「マユリカ」の阪本＆中谷がゲスト声優出演。
The 33rd theatrical film in the 'Crayon Shin-chan' TV anime series. It depicts the Nohara family's great adventure after they wander into a land of yokai (supernatural creatures), a strangely nostalgic and bizarre world. One summer day, strange phenomena are reported across Japan, causing a stir. Amid this, the Nohara family plans to visit Hiroshi's parents in Akita Prefecture. While preparing for the trip, a suspicious shadow peeks from behind a garden bush at Shin-chan, who is cheerfully playing a yokai game. Arriving in Akita, the Noharas spend a peaceful time at Grandpa Ginnosuke's house, but the next morning, a strange incident occurs: flyers for 'Obake-shon Village' are scattered in the room where Shin-chan and the others slept. At Shin-chan's request, the family heads to Obake-shon Village, but on the way, they wander into a strange space deep in a remote mountain. It is the entrance to the 'Land of Yokai,' forbidden to humans. Masaki Watanabe, who has directed the TV anime 'Crayon Shin-chan' since 2022, makes his film directorial debut, with screenplay by Yoshiko Nakamura, who has written for the TV series. Actress Sairi Ito voices the nine-tailed fox yokai 'Yako,' who guides Shin-chan and the others in the yokai land, and comedy duo 'Mayurika' members Sakamoto and Nakatani appear as guest voice actors.
