TVアニメ第3作の劇場版。「妖怪反物」を原作としたエピソードで、中国妖怪が日本の妖怪を次々と反物に変え、ついに鬼太郎も反物にされて妖怪城に捕えられる。夏らしく最後に妖怪と人間がともに盆踊りをするのも楽しい。キャラクターデザインは兼森義則。
The theatrical version of the third TV anime series. Based on the 'Yokai Hanmono' episode, Chinese yokai transform Japanese yokai into cloth one after another, and eventually GeGeGe no Kitaro himself is turned into cloth and captured in a yokai castle. The summer-appropriate finale where yokai and humans dance the Bon Odori together is also enjoyable. Character designs by Moriyasu Kanemori.
