An immersive youth horror film, this story follows a young girl targeted by a transparent monster visible only when she touches her smartphone. Director Masaki Nishiyama, who garnered attention for his 2021 vertical short film *Sma-Horror!*, makes his feature-length debut with this project. Drawing from the "shadows" of loneliness and alienation he felt during his own student years, Nishiyama spent six years bringing this vision to life. Elena, a girl of mixed heritage, transfers to a high school in a rural town. Struggling to fit in, she finds herself unable to open up to Akari, a cheerful classmate who tries to befriend her. However, following the death of the class troublemaker, Nyan—who was never seen without earphones plugged into her phone—strange phenomena begin to occur around Elena. Haunted by footsteps heard through her earphones and pursued by a "monster" visible only when she holds her smartphone, Elena soon finds herself unable to let go of her device, just like Nyan. Sierra Risa, an actor and director who has been making films since age 14, stars as Elena. Miyu Okuno plays her friend Akari, while Runa Hirasawa portrays the troubled Nyan. The VFX are handled by Cao Moji (Shoichiro Sato), a long-time collaborator of Nishiyama who also contributed to the CG for the Academy Award-winning *Godzilla Minus One*. The film was nominated for Best International Feature at the 33rd Raindance Film Festival in the UK.
