インド初の格安航空会社「エア・デカン」の創設者G・R・ゴーピナート大尉の自伝的著作をベースに、航空会社創業にまい進する男たちを描いたドラマ。 エコノミー席が満席のため、父の死に目に会うことができなかった空軍士官ネドゥマーランは、空軍時代の同期生と3人でインド初となる格安航空会社を立ち上げようとする。そんな彼らの熱意を、さげすむ者や馬鹿にする者も多かったが、周囲の雑音にもめげず、彼らは航空会社創業という夢を目指して前進していく。 タミル語映画のスター、スーリヤが主演を務める。監督は「ファイナル・ラウンド」のスダー・コーングラー。
Based on the autobiographical writings of Captain G.R. Gopinath, the founder of India's first low-cost carrier "Air Deccan," this drama depicts the journey of men striving to establish an airline. After being unable to be by his father's side at the time of his death because economy seats were fully booked, Air Force officer Nedumaaran sets out to launch India's first budget airline alongside two of his former comrades. Though many looked down on their passion or mocked their ambition, they remain undeterred by the noise around them, pushing forward toward their dream of founding an airline. Tamil cinema star Suriya takes the lead role, with Sudha Kongara (Final Round) directing.
