ある冒険家とかわした大切な約束を守るため、旅をしているレッサーパンダのパンタン。しかし、旅の途中で、ばいきんまんの赤ちゃんスプレーを浴びて、なんと、子どもの姿に！？パンタンはかつて約束をやぶってしまったことをずっと後悔していましたがジャムおじさんから「約束は守ろうとする気持ちが大事なんじゃないかな」と勇気づけられ、『今度こそ約束を守る』とクリームパンダと虹の星を目指すことにします。虹の星がもう一度輝いた時、約束の場所で見たものは…。
Pantan, a red panda, is traveling to keep a precious promise made with an adventurer. However, during the journey, he gets sprayed with Baikinman's baby spray and turns into a child! Pantan had long regretted breaking a promise in the past, but Uncle Jam encourages him, saying, 'What matters is the will to keep a promise.' Determined to keep the promise this time, he sets off with Cream Panda toward the Rainbow Star. When the Rainbow Star shines once more, what do they see at the promised place?
