Bestselling mystery novelist Tahara Junichiro has his life controlled by his intense wife Mariko, leaving his true talent dormant. Former elite salaryman Matsubara Yuji, unable to betray his mother's expectations even after retirement, continues to play the role of a fake executive while dealing with his hikikomori son. High school girl Kuroki Maria is driven into a corner when rumors spread that her mother is an AV actress.
