原作は「月刊あすか」連載の同名マンガで、1作目では主人公九楽あすかと古巣の裏番組織「全中裏」との闘いを、2作目ではパーティー屋の仕掛けた賭けトーナメントを描く。歌舞伎町やコマ劇場前、六本木など当時の風景が活写されている。監督は以後も女性主人公作品を多く手掛ける梅澤淳稔。作画監督は1作目が半田由利、2作目は本橋秀之が務めた。
Based on the manga of the same name serialized in Monthly Asuka, the first installment depicts the battle between protagonist Asuka Kugura and her former underworld organization 'Zen'naka Ura,' while the second installment portrays a betting tournament orchestrated by a party company. The era's scenery—Kabukicho, the front of Koma Theater, Roppongi—is vividly captured. Directed by Atsunori Umezawa, who would go on to helm many works with female protagonists. Animation direction was handled by Yuri Handa for the first installment and Hideyuki Motohashi for the second.
