焼け石と雨粒
日本映画学校出身の櫛田有耶監督が2022年に手がけた初長編作品。奇妙な関係性の中にある若者たちがもがきながら生きる姿を、監督自身の失恋経験を投影して描いた青春映画。 フリーターの氏田晶は、近所のスーパーの店員に好意を寄せるが、どうしたらいいかわからずストーキングしてしまう。高校の同級生で美大生の沙月に連絡を取り相談するが、次第に沙月にひかれていく。晶と沙月は過去や現実と向き合い、徐々に距離を縮めていくが、やがて2人の間に決定的な出来事が起こる。 主演は、ベネチア国際映画祭でも上映された五十嵐耕平監督作「SUPER HAPPY FOREVER」で注目を集めた佐野弘樹が務めた。2022年に完成した後、一度しか劇場で上映されていなかったが、4年の時を経た2026年に劇場公開が実現。
The debut feature film by Director Yuya Kushida, a graduate of the Japan Institute of the Moving Image, completed in 2022. This coming-of-age drama draws on the director's own experiences of heartbreak to depict young people struggling to navigate unconventional relationships. Akira Ujita, a part-time worker, develops feelings for a clerk at a local supermarket, but unsure of how to handle his emotions, he begins stalking them. He reaches out to Satsuki, a high school classmate and art student, for advice, but finds himself gradually drawn to her instead. As Akira and Satsuki confront their pasts and their current realities, they grow closer, until a pivotal event occurs between them. The film stars Hiroki Sano, who gained recognition for his role in Kohei Igarashi's "SUPER HAPPY FOREVER," which screened at the Venice International Film Festival. Although it received only a single theatrical screening following its completion in 2022, the film finally sees a full theatrical release in 2026, four years later.
