【この作品を選んだ理由】｢これは戦争映画です｣と紹介されると、身構えて観るのを少し遠ざけてしまうかもしれません。ですがこの映画はそういった気持ちの整理がない状態で見た方がより没入感があります。こんなに悲しいのに優しさに包まれていて温もりがあってじんわりと胸に残って離れない。見終わったあと日々を大切に生きようって思える素敵な映画です。私がこの映画を見たのが20代になってからなのですが、10代の頃に出会っていたらもっと豊かな感性で観れたなと思うので、10代の方に是非見て欲しい1本です。
[Reason for selecting this work] When introduced as "a war film," one might brace oneself and hesitate to watch. But this film is better experienced without that mental preparation, allowing for deeper immersion. It's so sad, yet wrapped in gentleness and warmth, lingering softly in the heart. After watching, you feel inspired to cherish each day. It's a wonderful film. I watched it in my twenties, but I think if I had encountered it in my teens, I would have appreciated it with even richer sensibilities, so I especially want teenagers to see it.
