The fifth installment in documentary filmmaker Kim Seong-woong's 'false accusation' series, following SAYAMA: Until the Invisible Handcuffs Are Removed, Iwao Hakamada: The World Between Dreams, Prison Friends, and My Anniversary. It records 15 years of Iwao Hakamada, acquitted in the Hakamada case, and his sister Hideko, as well as Kazuo Ishikawa, whose retrial for the Sayama case has yet to begin, and his wife Sachiko, exploring the 'lies' and 'truths' of the two cases. Iwao Hakamada received a not-guilty verdict on September 26, 2024, while Kazuo Ishikawa passed away in regret on March 11, 2025, during his third request for retrial. Director Kim, who has continued making films on the theme of false accusations since meeting the Ishikawas, turns his camera on two families who keep moving forward in defiance of authority. Through the modest daily lives of these people who live with generous hearts despite being forced to endure injustice, he highlights the cruelty of Japan's judicial system. Actor Yukiya Kitamura provides the narration.
