母親の認知症による記憶の混濁とともに、家族という“王国”が崩壊していく様を静かな緊張感で描き出す心理ドラマ。記憶や嘘、信仰と真実をめぐるテーマを織り交ぜながら、人間の内面に潜む不安と崩壊を描いた。 美容師として穏やかな日々を送るギョンヒは、早期認知症の兆候に見舞われ始める。一方、作家として活動する息子ジウクは、自著「The Power of Truth（真実が持つ力）」を支えに生活していたが、母が口にする断片的な言葉によって、忘れられていた過去の記憶と向き合うことになる。さらに、牧師である叔父ジョンミョンの存在が、家族の中に眠っていた秘密と信仰にまつわる真実を浮かび上がらせていく。 出演はナム・ギエ、ハン・キジャン、ユ・ソンジュ。2024年の全州国際映画祭コンペティション部門に出品。韓国のインディーズ・ジャンル映画の特集上映「ハングル・ニューウェーブ映画祭2026」にて劇場公開。
A psychological drama that portrays with quiet tension the collapse of the family "kingdom" alongside a mother's dementia-induced confusion of memory. Interweaving themes of memory, lies, faith, and truth, it depicts the anxiety and disintegration lurking within the human psyche. Gyeong-hui, living a peaceful life as a hairdresser, begins to show signs of early-onset dementia. Meanwhile, her son Ji-uk, who works as a writer, sustains himself through his book "The Power of Truth," but fragmented words spoken by his mother force him to confront forgotten memories of the past. Furthermore, the presence of his uncle, Pastor Jeong-myeong, brings to light secrets sleeping within the family and truths concerning faith. Starring Nam Gi-ae, Han Ki-jang, and Yoo Seong-ju. Screened in the competition section of the 2024 Jeonju International Film Festival. Released theatrically as part of the "Hangeul New Wave Film Festival 2026," a special screening of Korean indie genre films.
