長崎に暮らし日本全国を渡り歩いて被爆者の声を集め続けたジャーナリスト・伊藤明彦の実話をもとに、原爆によってもたらされた数奇な出会いの物語を描いたヒューマンドラマ。2025年8月にNHKで放送され、第34回橋田賞をはじめ数々の賞に輝いたテレビドラマを、未公開シーンを追加し登場人物たちの内面をより深く掘り下げた映画版として公開する。 高度経済成長を遂げた1972年の日本。誰もが豊かさを追い求めるなか、その時代の流れに逆らうように、長崎の放送局出身のジャーナリスト・辻原保は被爆者の声を集めはじめる。当時はまだ原爆の記憶はあまりにも生々しく、その悲惨な体験を語ろうとする者は少なかった。そんな時代における被爆者体験の記録は、周囲から理解されない孤独で過酷な作業だった。ある日、辻原は被爆者の九野和平と運命的な出会いを果たす。九野が語る“声”に心を激しく揺さぶられる辻原だったが、その“声”は多くの謎に満ちていた。 本木雅弘が辻原役で主演を務め、石橋静河、伊東蒼、尾野真千子、田中哲司、阿部サダヲが共演。NHK大河ドラマ「麒麟がくる」や映画「復讐するは我にあり」などで知られる広島県出身の脚本家・池端俊策が脚本を手がけた。

A human drama based on the true story of journalist Akihiko Ito, who lived in Nagasaki and traveled across Japan collecting the voices of atomic bomb survivors, depicting a tale of extraordinary encounters brought about by the atomic bomb. Originally broadcast on NHK in August 2025 and winner of numerous awards including the 34th Hashida Award, this television drama is being released as a film version with additional unreleased scenes that delve deeper into the inner lives of its characters. In 1972, Japan had achieved rapid economic growth. While everyone pursued prosperity, journalist Yasuhara Tsujihara, a former employee of a Nagasaki broadcasting station, began collecting the voices of atomic bomb survivors as if swimming against the current of the times. At that time, the memory of the atomic bomb was still far too raw, and few were willing to speak of their horrific experiences. Recording survivors' experiences in such an era was a lonely and grueling task that those around him could not understand. One day, Tsujihara has a fateful encounter with a survivor named Kazuhei Kuno. Tsujihara is deeply shaken by the "voice" that Kuno speaks of, but that "voice" is filled with many mysteries. Masahiro Motoki stars as Tsujihara, with Shizuka Ishibashi, Aoi Ito, Machiko Ono, Tetsushi Tanaka, and Sadao Abe in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Shunsaku Ikehata, a Hiroshima native known for the NHK taiga drama "Kirin ga Kuru" and the film "Vengeance Is Mine."
