「左様なら」「朝がくるとむなしくなる」で知られる石橋夕帆監督の長編3作目で、仕事や恋愛などに行き詰まった30代の女性が、学生時代に経験した初恋の記憶を頼りに、自身の生き方を見つめ直していく過程を描いたヒューマンドラマ。 東京で働く32歳の美咲は、長年勤めていた会社に居づらさを感じて退職し、将来の見通しを持てないまま、実家へ戻る。地元で開かれた同窓会に参加した彼女は、学生時代の初恋の相手がすでに亡くなっていたことを知る。その出来事をきっかけに、美咲の中で止まっていた記憶や感情が、少しずつ呼び起こされていく。 「市子」「三日月とネコ」「ザッケン！」などでも注目される上村奈帆が脚本を手がけ、映画「茶飲友達」やドラマ、CM、舞台などで幅広く活躍する岡本玲が主演を務めた。1991年生まれの岡本、90年生まれの石橋、88年生まれの上村という同世代の3人の女性が集い、30代女性が抱える将来への不安や過去の思い出との邂逅を繊細に紡いだ。共演に長村航希、坂ノ上茜、濱田マリ、原日出子、平田満ら。
The third feature film by director Yuho Ishibashi, known for 'Goodbye' and 'When Morning Comes, I Feel Empty.' This human drama follows a woman in her 30s, stuck in her career and love life, as she reexamines her way of living by relying on memories of her first love from her student days. Misaki, a 32-year-old working in Tokyo, feels uncomfortable at the company she has worked for for many years and quits, returning to her family home without any clear prospects for the future. Attending a local class reunion, she learns that her first love from her school days has already passed away. This event gradually reawakens the memories and emotions that had been frozen inside Misaki. The screenplay is written by Naho Uemura, noted for 'Ichiko,' 'Crescent Moon and Cat,' and 'Zakken!' The lead role is played by Rei Okamoto, who is widely active in films like 'Tea Drinking Friends,' as well as dramas, commercials, and stage. The film brings together three women of the same generation—Okamoto (born 1991), Ishibashi (born 1990), and Uemura (born 1988)—to delicately weave a story about the anxieties of a woman in her 30s about the future and her encounter with past memories. The cast also includes Koki Osamura, Akane Sakanoue, Mari Hamada, Hideko Hara, and Mitsuru Hirata.
