2011年の福島第一原発事故を教訓に「脱原発」と「再生可能エネルギー推進」という理想を掲げた福島の針路に見えはじめた、深刻な“かげり”に迫るドキュメンタリー。2025年5月に放送され大きな反響を呼んだ福島テレビのドキュメンタリー番組「かげる針路」を、劇場版としてリメイクした。 世界最悪レベルの原発事故を経験した福島県は、脱原発へと舵を切り、再生可能エネルギーを推進してきた。ターニングポイントとなった日から15年を経た現在、福島は重大な岐路に立たされている。メガソーラーが急拡大し各地で山が削られるなか、手抜き工事や景観の悪化による軋轢も顕在化し、再生可能エネルギーへの逆風が強まっている。一方、国は事故を起こした福島第一原発の廃炉完了の絵姿がいまだ見えないなか、エネルギー政策の方針を「原発回帰」へと転換し、再稼働へ向けた動きが進んでいる。 メガソーラーの急拡大による環境破壊と地域住民との軋轢、廃炉の先が見えないなかで鮮明になる国の原発回帰にカメラを向け、理想と現実の間で揺れる福島の現在を克明に映し出す。
A documentary that delves into the serious 'shadow' beginning to appear over Fukushima's course, which was set on the ideals of 'nuclear phase-out' and 'renewable energy promotion' following the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. This is a theatrical remake of the Fukushima TV documentary program 'Kageru Shiro' (Shadowy Course), which aired in May 2025 and sparked a huge response. Fukushima Prefecture, having experienced one of the world's worst nuclear accidents, shifted course toward abandoning nuclear power and promoting renewable energy. Fifteen years after that turning point, Fukushima now stands at a critical crossroads. As mega-solar plants rapidly expand, carving up mountains, issues like shoddy construction and landscape degradation have surfaced, intensifying headwinds against renewable energy. Meanwhile, with the government still unable to show a clear picture of completing the decommissioning of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi plant, it has shifted its energy policy back toward nuclear power, moving to restart reactors. The film turns its camera on the environmental destruction and friction with local residents caused by the rapid expansion of mega-solar, and the government's return to nuclear power, which becomes clearer as the end of decommissioning remains out of sight, vividly capturing Fukushima's present wavering between ideals and reality.
