奥多摩町の美しい自然を背景に、強い絆で結ばれた老人たちの終わらない青春を描いたドラマ。「桜坂物語」の小野明良が監督・脚本・編集を手がけ、元三船プロダクションの仲間たちと撮りあげた。 故郷・今治で暮らす64歳の橘新造は、かつて俳優養成所でともに学んだ仲間たちに会うため、妻・睦子を連れて上京する。滝川が経営するライブハウスで、滝川夫妻や高木夫妻、寺田、天童、小倉と再会し旧交を温める新造だったが、小川良雄とだけは会うことが叶わなかった。それから3年後、悪性リンパ腫で倒れた新造のもとに、突然良雄が姿を現す。不可解な行動をとる良雄の強引な招集により、かつての仲間たちは30年ぶりに集結するが……。 出演は、劇団「夢の遊眠社」「うるとら2B団」で活躍する門間利夫、「ドンマイ」「アーバンクロウ」の池上リョヲマ、ギタリスト・作曲家の関将、ロックシンガーの高樹リオ。小野監督も自ら出演し、寺島進が友情出演。

A drama depicting the never-ending youth of elderly men bound by strong ties, set against the beautiful nature of Okutama. Directed, written, and edited by Akiyoshi Ono of 'Sakurazaka Monogatari,' it was shot together with former members of Mifune Productions. Shinsuke Tachibana, 64, living in his hometown of Imabari, travels to Tokyo with his wife Mutsuko to meet friends who once studied together at an acting school. At a live house run by Takigawa, Shinsuke reunites with the Takigawas, the Takagis, Terada, Tendo, and Ogura, rekindling old friendships—but he is unable to meet Yoshio Ogawa. Three years later, Yoshio suddenly appears before Shinsuke, who has collapsed from malignant lymphoma. Through Yoshio's incomprehensible behavior and forceful summons, the old friends gather for the first time in 30 years, but... Starring Toshio Monma, active in the theater companies 'Yume no Yuminsha' and 'Ultra 2B Dan'; Ryoma Ikegami of 'Donmai' and 'Urban Crow'; guitarist and composer Sho Seki; and rock singer Rio Takagi. Director Ono also appears himself, with Susumu Terajima in a friendly cameo.
