アイドルグループ「AKB48」の佐藤綺星が映画初主演を果たし、アイドルたちの光と影をリアルに描いた青春ドラマ。福岡を舞台に、アイドルという夢を追う少女たちの友情と葛藤と成長を、現役アイドルだからこそ表現できるライブパフォーマンスを盛り込みながら、みずみずしく描き出す。 平凡な女子高生・城田海梨は、アイドルとして活動する親友・佐久間咲音のライブを初めて観に行くが、咲音がライブ前に会場から逃げ出してしまったことを知る。ステージに穴を空けられない咲音のマネージャー・加山は、海梨を咲音の代役としてステージに立たせようと思いつく。歌もダンスも経験のない海梨だったが、断りきれず代役を引き受けることになる。自身も元アイドルである加山は、海梨に歌やダンスを厳しく叩き込もうとするがうまくいかず、カノン率いる人気アイドルグループ「RIG-TAG」に協力を要請。ライブの開幕まであと4時間半に迫るなか、ステージを成功させるべく奮闘する彼女たちだったが……。 福岡を拠点に活動する15歳のアイドル・谷中詩が咲音役、アイドルグループ「HKT48」の元メンバー・坂本愛玲菜が「RIG-TAG」のリーダー・カノン役で共演。短編映画やCMなどを手がけてきた髙村剛志監督が長編初メガホンをとった。
A coming-of-age drama starring AKB48's Kisei Sato in her first lead film role, realistically depicting the light and shadow of idols. Set in Fukuoka, it vividly portrays the friendship, conflicts, and growth of girls chasing the dream of being idols, incorporating live performances that only a current idol can deliver. Ordinary high school girl Kairi Shirota goes to see her best friend Sakine Sakuma, who performs as an idol, at a live concert for the first time—only to learn that Sakine ran away from the venue before the show. Sakine's manager Kayama, unable to leave a hole in the lineup, hits on the idea of putting Kairi on stage as Sakine's stand-in. Kairi has no experience in singing or dancing, but she can't refuse and ends up taking on the role. Kayama, herself a former idol, tries to drill Kairi in singing and dancing, but it doesn't go well, so she asks for help from the popular idol group "RIG-TAG," led by Kanon. With only four and a half hours until the concert begins, the girls struggle to make the stage a success—but then... Fifteen-year-old Fukuoka-based idol Shii Taninaka plays Sakine, and former HKT48 member Airei Sakamoto plays RIG-TAG leader Kanon. Director Takeshi Takamura, known for short films and commercials, makes his feature directorial debut.
