A human drama depicting a man who returns to his hometown of Ibaraki seeking a place to die, and, guided by a mysterious taxi driver, visits the women he had relationships with in the past while confronting his own life. Kenji Nakamura, who lives in Tokyo with his common-law wife and son, suddenly finds himself saddled with debt he has no memory of. His family falls apart, and driven to the brink, Nakamura travels to his hometown of Ibaraki seeking a place to die. The day after he prays at a local shrine to 'die easily,' a mysterious taxi driver appears and recites Nakamura's innermost feelings. Boarding the 'end-of-life taxi' he drives, Nakamura sets out on a journey to visit the women he was involved with in the past. Through various reunions, Nakamura's irresponsibility and habit of running away are exposed, and eventually he confronts his true feeling: 'I don't want to die like this.' Actors Kazuhiro Iwata and Hayato Kusano, classmates from Ibaraki Prefecture, star in the dual lead roles. Seiichi Ogawa serves as director, screenwriter, and editor, with actor Eiji Okuda as supervisor. The title 'Gojappe' is an Ibaraki dialect word meaning 'nonsense.' It won the Audience Award at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival 2026.
