Lia, a retired teacher living in Georgia, sets out for Istanbul, Turkey, alongside Achi, a young man who claims to know her missing transgender niece, Tekla. However, finding Tekla, who has vanished without a trace, proves more difficult than they ever imagined. Eventually, Lia crosses paths with Evrim, a lawyer fighting for transgender rights, and enlists her help. Why did Tekla leave Georgia? Set in Istanbul—a city where East and West converge in an evocative cultural tapestry—the journey to find Tekla becomes a path that slowly brings Lia, Achi, and Evrim closer together.
