マーベル・シネマティック・ユニバース（MCU）に属する、トム・ホランド主演の「スパイダーマン」シリーズ第4作。前作「スパイダーマン　ノー・ウェイ・ホーム」の4年後を舞台に、人々の記憶から消えたピーター・パーカー＝スパイダーマンの新たな戦いを描く。 愛する人たちを守るため、全世界の人々から自分の存在の記憶を抹消する道を選んだピーター・パーカー。自分のことを誰も知らないニューヨークで孤独に暮らしながら、スパイダーマンとして犯罪と戦い、街の人々を守ることに全力を尽くす日々を過ごしていた。しかし人々のスパイダーマンへの期待が高まるにつれ、そのプレッシャーが彼の存在そのものを脅かし、命に関わる身体的変異を引き起こしてしまう。時を同じくして、街では不可解な犯罪が頻発し、かつてない脅威がスパイダーマンに迫る。 共演にはMJ役のゼンデイヤ、ネッド役のジェイコブ・バタロンら前3作でおなじみのメンバーに加え、MCUドラマ「デアデビル」「パニッシャー」に登場するフランク・キャッスル＝パニッシャー役のジョン・バーンサル、「アベンジャーズ」のメンバーであるブルース・バナー＝ハルク役のマーク・ラファロも参加。監督は前3作を手がけたジョン・ワッツに代わり、「シャン・チー　テン・リングスの伝説」のデスティン・ダニエル・クレットンが担当。

The fourth installment of Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man' series, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Set four years after the previous film 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' it depicts a new battle for Peter Parker—Spider-Man—who has been erased from people's memories. To protect his loved ones, Peter Parker chose to erase all memory of his existence from the world. Living a lonely life in New York, where no one knows him, he spends his days fighting crime as Spider-Man and dedicating himself to protecting the city's people. But as public expectations of Spider-Man rise, the pressure threatens his very existence, causing life-threatening physical mutations. At the same time, mysterious crimes occur frequently in the city, and an unprecedented threat looms over Spider-Man. Co-stars include Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, and other familiar faces from the previous three films, plus Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher from the MCU series 'Daredevil' and 'The Punisher,' and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk from 'The Avengers.' The director is Destin Daniel Cretton of 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,' replacing Jon Watts, who directed the previous three films.
