In 1990, a massive earthquake in northern Iran mercilessly struck the village where the 1987 film "Where Is the Friend's Home?" was shot, as well as its residents. After the earthquake, film director Kiarostami, accompanied by his son, heads to the disaster-stricken area to check on the safety of the two brothers who appeared in the film.
