A historical ensemble drama starring Haruma Miura, depicting the life of Tomoatsu Godai, a visionary who built the foundations of modern Japan's economy and was hailed as a 'Tengaramon' (a person of extraordinary talent). Written by Eriko Komatsu and directed by Mitsutoshi Tanaka, the film presents an original story. In the late Edo period, Japan is shocked by Perry's arrival. Young samurai Saisuke Godai (later Tomoatsu), sensing the dawn of a new era, ignores internal conflicts over expulsion or opening of the country and looks to the world. After meeting the courtesan Haru, he is driven by the desire for 'free dreams' and joins forces with Ryoma Sakamoto, Yataro Iwasaki, Hirobumi Ito, and others to build a nation where everyone can dream. Shohei Miura plays Ryoma Sakamoto, Godai's ally; Takanori Nishikawa plays Yataro Iwasaki, who later founded the Mitsubishi conglomerate; Yuki Morinaga plays a young Hirobumi Ito, who becomes the first Prime Minister; and Mei Nagano plays the courtesan Haru.
