A Korean feature-length animated film depicting a transfer student girl who has closed off her heart as she grows through mysterious letters from an unknown sender. Based on the bestselling 2018 comic of the same name by Korean cartoonist Cho Hyun-a, it marks the feature directorial debut of Kim Yong-hwan, who drew attention with the YouTube short animation series 'A Day Before Us,' and is brought to life with delicate psychological portrayal, beautifully detailed art backgrounds, and richly poetic visual expression. Sori, a girl who became a target of bullying for protecting a friend, transfers to a rural school but cannot fit into her new environment and closes off her heart. One day, she finds a mysterious letter hidden in her desk. It contains hints for getting through life at the new school and a cryptic message: 'Try looking for the continuation.' Guided by those words, Sori meets a blunt classmate named Dongshun, and together with him — who says he knows who the sender is — she searches for the continuation of the letters. Eventually, the 'true message' hidden in the letters is revealed. The theme song is 'Your Letter' by Lee Su-hyun of the popular Korean duo AKMU. At the 26th Bucheon International Animation Festival in 2024, it won the Jury Special Award, the Technical Award, and the Music Award. In the Japanese dubbed version, Yabuki Nako, a former member of the idol groups HKT48 and IZ*ONE and now an actor, makes her voice-acting debut as Sori, while Kensho Ono, a voice actor known for the 'Harry Potter' series and more, plays Dongshun.
