王となったアリババの末裔アリババ33世は享楽にふけり、ランプの魔物を使って国民を苦しめた。盗賊の末裔アル・ハックと１匹のネズミ、38匹の猫は協力し、空飛ぶじゅうたんで城に乗り込む。丸くデフォルメされたキャラクターに大工原章の挑戦が見られる。ハック少年は大山のぶ代が演じ、回想の影絵シーンは劇団かかし座が担当した。この年に東映社長の大川博は急逝し、製作としてクレジットされた最後の作品となった。

Alibaba XXXIII, descendant of the original Alibaba and now king, indulges in pleasure and uses the lamp's genie to oppress his people. The descendant of a thief, Al-Hack, teams up with one mouse and 38 cats, riding a flying carpet into the castle. Akira Daikuhara's challenge is evident in the round, deformed characters. Hack is voiced by Nobuyo Oyama, and the shadow-puppet flashback scenes were handled by the theater troupe Kakashiza. This was the last film credited to Toei president Hiroshi Okawa, who passed away suddenly that year.
