中東カタールの野良猫たちを救出しアメリカへ移送する活動を追ったドキュメンタリー。 世界有数の富裕国として知られるカタールは、急速な発展を維持するため、人口の89％が他国からの臨時労働者で占められている。その一方で、カタールでは野良猫の数が増加し続けており、路上から猫たちを救出するのも、イランやインドなどさまざまな国からやって来た、異なるバックグラウンドをもつ人々だ。アメリカ・ミルウォーキー在住の客室乗務員で猫カフェ経営者でもあるケイティは、25匹の野良猫をカタールからアメリカへ移送して新しい里親を見つけるため、7000マイルの距離を旅してカタールの首都ドーハを訪れる。4日間という限られた時間のなかで彼女を待ち受けていたのは、ドーハで野良猫たちを救う活動を続けるパキスタン出身の施工管理者ウマイルらとの出会いと、野良猫たちを移送するにあたっての難しい決断の数々だった。 監督は、猫と男性の心温まる絆を描いたドキュメンタリー映画「猫と、とうさん」のマイ・ホン。

A documentary following the efforts to rescue stray cats in Qatar, in the Middle East, and transport them to the United States. Qatar, known as one of the world's wealthiest nations, relies on temporary workers from other countries for 89% of its population to sustain its rapid development. Meanwhile, the number of stray cats in Qatar continues to rise, and those rescuing cats from the streets are also people from various countries such as Iran and India, with diverse backgrounds. Katie, a flight attendant based in Milwaukee, USA, and owner of a cat café, travels 7,000 miles to Doha, the capital of Qatar, to transport 25 stray cats to America and find them new homes. Within the limited time of four days, she encounters Umair, a construction manager from Pakistan who continues his work rescuing stray cats in Doha, and faces a series of difficult decisions regarding the transport of the cats. The director is Mai Hong, who also directed the documentary film "Cat and Dad," which portrayed the heartwarming bond between a cat and a man.
