All Hands on Deck!
A youth film directed by Guillaume Brac, known for 'A Summer's Tale' and 'The Gentle Ones,' which tenderly follows young people enjoying their summer vacation amidst the scenic beauty of Southern France. On a summer night by the Seine, the awkward young man Félix falls in love with Alma and spends a dreamlike time with her. However, the next morning, Alma leaves for vacation with her family. Félix, along with his kind best friend Sheriff and the earnest young man Édouard he met through a ride-sharing app, sets off to chase after Alma to the small rural town of Die in Southern France... Following his 2017 film 'July Tales,' Brac made this work with students from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in France, casting students appearing in their first feature film. It won the Special Prize of the International Federation of Film Critics in the Panorama section of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival in 2020.
