An unconventional love drama directed by Danish filmmaker Joachim Trier, known for "The Worst Person in the World" and "Thelma," which won the Best Actress award at the 74th Cannes Film Festival in 2021 and was nominated for two Academy Awards at the 94th ceremony in 2022—Best International Feature Film and Best Original Screenplay. Julie is approaching the milestone age of 30. Having already squandered several talents, she still hasn't found direction in life. Her older boyfriend Aksel, a successful graphic novelist, has been increasingly eager to settle down. One night, Julie crashes a party she wasn't invited to and meets the young and charming Eivind. Soon after, she leaves Aksel and throws herself into a new romance, hoping to find a new outlook on life—but... Renate Reinsve, who appeared in Trier's "Oslo, August 31st" and other works, plays Julie and won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival.
