演劇の学び舎に通う9人の少女たちが謎のオーディションに挑み、舞台上で切磋琢磨する姿を描いたテレビアニメ「少女☆歌劇 レヴュースタァライト」の完全新作劇場版。アニメ版と舞台版がリンクするメディアミックスプロジェクトとして展開され、2018年に放送されたテレビアニメ「少女☆歌劇 レヴュースタァライト」では、演劇界を担う才能を育てるために設立された女学園「聖翔音楽学園」に通う愛城華恋らの姿を全12話で描き、そのテレビシリーズを再編集した「少女☆歌劇 レヴュー・スタァライト　ロンド・ロンド・ロンド」も20年5月に公開された。それらに続く物語が展開する完全新作の今作では、3年生となり卒業を目前に控えた華恋ら聖翔音楽学園第99期生の物語が迎える結末を描く。監督はテレビ版、総集編劇場版に続いて古川知宏が務めた。

A completely new theatrical film for the TV anime "Revue Starlight," which depicts nine girls attending a theater school as they take on a mysterious audition and hone their skills on stage. Developed as a media mix project linking the anime and stage versions, the 2018 TV anime "Revue Starlight" depicted Aijo Karen and others attending Seisho Music Academy, a girls' school established to nurture talents who will lead the theater world, over 12 episodes. A re-edited compilation film, "Revue Starlight: Rondo Rondo Rondo," was released in May 2020. This completely new work, continuing the story from those, depicts the conclusion of the tale of Karen and the other 99th graduating class students of Seisho Music Academy, now in their third year and on the verge of graduation. Tomohiro Furukawa returns as director, following the TV series and the compilation film.
