フランスの巨匠ジャン＝リュック・ゴダールが、圧倒的映像美と卓越した編集で現代ヨーロッパを描いた映像詩。ゴダール監督が前作「アワーミュージック」から6年ぶりに手がけた長編作品で、同監督作として初めて全編デジタルで撮影された。 地中海を周遊する豪華客船を舞台に、スペイン内戦時に行方不明となった黄金をめぐる人間模様を描く第1楽章「こんな事ども」、フランスの片田舎に暮らす一家が織りなす政治喜劇の第2楽章「どこへ行く、ヨーロッパ」、人類の歴史にまつわる6つの土地をめぐる歴史と文化の考察を、無数の引用とコラージュで展開する第3楽章「われら人類」で構成。さまざまな映像フォーマットを駆使し、映像・言葉・音・さらにデジタルノイズまでをも自由自在に取り込みながら、圧倒的な密度と速度で反骨精神たっぷりに描き出す。 ミュージシャンのパティ・スミス、ギタリストのレニー・ケイ、哲学者のアラン・バディウらが本人役で出演。特集上映企画「21世紀のジャン＝リュック・ゴダール　わたしたちの映画 2001-2010」（2026年6月20日〜、シアター・イメージフォーラム渋谷ほか全国順次公開）上映作品。

A visual poem by French master Jean-Luc Godard, depicting modern Europe with overwhelming visual beauty and masterful editing. It is Godard's first feature film shot entirely in digital, his first in six years since 'Our Music.' Set on a luxury cruise ship touring the Mediterranean, it consists of three movements: the first movement 'Such Things' depicts human drama over gold lost during the Spanish Civil War; the second movement 'Where to, Europe' is a political comedy about a family living in the French countryside; and the third movement 'We Humans' explores history and culture across six locations related to human history, using countless quotations and collages. Utilizing various video formats and freely incorporating images, words, sounds, and even digital noise, it is depicted with overwhelming density and speed, full of rebellious spirit. Musician Patti Smith, guitarist Lenny Kaye, and philosopher Alain Badiou appear as themselves. Screened as part of the special screening series 'Jean-Luc Godard in the 21st Century: Our Films 2001-2010' (starting June 20, 2026, at Theater Image Forum Shibuya and other locations nationwide).
