The destroyer of the universe, "Genma," was approaching Earth. Luna, a princess of Transylvania and an esper, received a message from the cosmic consciousness "Froi" and began a battle to protect Earth alongside Vega, a cyborg soldier also fighting Genma. Luna decided to gather psychics from around the world to counter Genma. Among them was high school student Azuma Higashi, who was unaware of his own abilities until Vega's provocations awakened his psychic powers. However, emotionally immature, he closed his heart to Luna's pleas to join the fight to save the universe. Even so, the enemy appeared before him without mercy.
