Dynamite Don-Don
Set in 1950, in Kokura, Northern Kyushu, under U.S. occupation just after the war. To resolve the escalating yakuza conflict between the Okagen and Hashiden gangs, the police chief proposes a peaceful solution: a yakuza baseball tournament instead of a turf war. The protagonist, Kasuke of the Okagen gang, uses his wits to suppress Hashiden's offense, but the impatient Hashiden brings in their secret weapon, Ginji. A pitcher who became a yakuza after having his fingers severed over a woman, his magical pitches turn the tide, putting Okagen in a tough spot.
