Dr. Josef Heiter, a German who was once a renowned surgeon for separating conjoined twins, harbors a secret desire to do the opposite of his previous operations: to connect a human's mouth to another's anus and create a "Human Centipede." One day, two American women traveling, Lindsay and Jenny, get a flat tire while driving and seek help at Dr. Heiter's house. To fulfill his desire, Heiter welcomes the unsuspecting pair warmly and begins work on creating a human centipede, adding Katsuro, a Japanese man he had already captured, to the mix.
