2012～13年にテレビ放送された「ガールズ＆パンツァー」の劇場版。戦車を用いた武芸「戦車道」が大和撫子のたしなみとされる世界を舞台に、戦車道に打ち込む女子高生たちの成長や友情を描いた人気アニメで、テレビシリーズで戦車道の全国大会を戦い抜いた、西住みほを中心とした県立大洗女子学園のその後の物語が描かれる。 第63回戦車道全国大会で優勝を飾った大洗女子学園。平穏な日常が戻ってきたと思っていたある日、大洗でエキシビジョンマッチが開催されることになる。いまやすっかり町の人気者になった大洗女子戦車道チームには熱い視線が注がれるが……。 監督の水島努、脚本の吉田玲子、キャラクター原案の島田フミカネらこれまででおなじみのスタッフが再結集した。2025年には公開10周年を記念して、これまで行われた通常上映、Dolby Atmos上映、4DX上映に加え、映像をより高精彩にアップコンバートした4K上映とMX4D上映が行われる。

The theatrical film version of "Girls & Panzer," which aired on TV from 2012 to 2013. Set in a world where the martial art of "Sensha-do" (the way of the tank) is considered an accomplishment for young women, this popular anime depicts the growth and friendship of high school girls devoted to tankery. It portrays the story after the TV series, following the girls of Oarai Girls High School, led by Miho Nishizumi, who fought their way through the national Sensha-do tournament. Oarai Girls High School emerged victorious in the 63rd National Sensha-do Tournament. One day, when they thought their peaceful daily life had returned, an exhibition match is scheduled to be held in Oarai. The Oarai Girls High School tankery team, now quite popular with the townspeople, draws intense attention... Director Tsutomu Mizushima, screenwriter Reiko Yoshida, and original character designer Fumikane Shimada, the familiar staff from previous installments, have reunited. In 2025, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its release, 4K screenings with higher-definition upconverted visuals and MX4D screenings will be held, in addition to the regular, Dolby Atmos, and 4DX screenings that have been held so far.
