Hamtaro had a dream. It was a dream of a beautiful hamster princess... 'Help me... Please... Come here quickly...' The princess was trapped inside a soap bubble, tears in her eyes. Even after waking up, Hamtaro can't stop worrying about the princess from his dream. So, he and the Ham-Hams decide to go rescue her. They arrive at the 'Hamja Kingdom,' the homeland of hamsters with a history of 8686 in the Ham Calendar, surrounded by desert. The sky is dark, and the hamsters living there seem downcast. No wonder—Princess Shera of the Hamja Kingdom, who was engaged to Prince Hamuha of the neighboring country, has been kidnapped by a mysterious cat that suddenly appeared and trapped her just like in Hamtaro's dream. That cat wants to marry Princess Shera and take over the kingdom! At this rate, the princess and the kingdom are in danger! Can Hamtaro and the Ham-Hams save the princess and protect the hamsters' homeland? An adventure of love and courage begins now.
