Ogasawara Shibuki meets Daito Shima Ken, who is training in magic, and decides to go on a trip in his car. Shibuki's destination is Osaka, and Ken's is Okinawa. The two don't get along and argue constantly during the trip. In Hamamatsu, Ken's uncle has a magic show, and Shibuki ends up helping out. However, during the show, Ken meets with a jazz singer named Ise Masayo. Seeing Ken so smitten with Masayo, Shibuki feels jealous. The car arrives in Osaka, and the two part ways. But Shibuki can't stop thinking about Ken and sets off for Okinawa, where her sister and brother-in-law live.
