「私の一生は一篇の童話であった」というアンデルセンの言葉から着想を得た音楽劇で、「赤い靴」や「親指姫」などの童話を織り交ぜながらアンデルセンの少年時代を描く。夜空には色とりどりの星が輝き、オーケストラの音色が物語を包む。小山礼司の美術と宇野誠一郎の音楽が、メルヘンの世界を甘美に表現している。

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's words, 'My life is a fairy tale,' this musical drama weaves together tales like 'The Red Shoes' and 'Thumbelina' while depicting Andersen's boyhood. The night sky sparkles with colorful stars, and the orchestra's melodies envelop the story. The art by Reiji Koyama and the music by Seiichiro Uno sweetly bring this fairy-tale world to life.
