“記憶に残る名作”がスクリーンによみがえる！ 1993年『二十才の微熱』で監督デビューをはたして以降、第25回ロッテルダム国際映画祭グランプリに輝いた『渚のシンドバッド』（95）、第89回キネマ旬報ベスト・テン日本映画ベスト・テン第1位をはじめ各映画賞を席巻した『恋人たち』（15）、『恋人たち』から9年ぶりに発表した最新作『お母さんが一緒』（24）など、国内外の映画ファンがその新作を待ちわびる“寡作の名匠”橋口亮輔。 ゲイカップルと一人の女性、他者と関わることを諦めかけていた彼ら三人がつくる「新しい家族のかたち」を描いた『ハッシュ！』と、一組の夫婦の10年を通して、人と人の間に生まれる希望を描く『ぐるりのこと。』。共に「オールタイム・ベスト映画」としてそのタイトルが挙がることも多く、“記憶に残る名作”として知られる2作品が、このたび4Kリマスター版としてリバイバル公開決定！『ぐるりのこと。』は2008年6月の公開から18年ぶり、『ハッシュ！』は2001年の製作から25年（公開は2002年4月）、実に四半世紀ぶりとなります。 『ハッシュ！』は、ゲイカップルと「付き合ってくれとか、結婚とかじゃなくて、子どもがほしい」と精子提供による子作りを提案する女性、3人がつくる「新しい家族のかたち」をユーモラスに描いた作品。2001年カンヌ国際映画祭監督週間に出品された。

"Unforgettable masterpieces" return to the big screen! Since his directorial debut with "Twenty Years' Micro Heat" (1993), Ryosuke Hashiguchi—a "master of few works" eagerly awaited by film fans worldwide—has won the Grand Prix at the 25th Rotterdam International Film Festival for "Like Grains of Sand" (1995), swept various film awards including the Kinema Junpo Best Ten Japanese Films No. 1 for "Three Stories of Love" (2015), and released his latest film "Motherhood" (2024) nine years after "Three Stories of Love." "Hush!" depicts a gay couple and a woman who proposes having a child through sperm donation—"not dating or marriage, but I want a child"—and the "new form of family" the three of them create. "All Around Us" portrays the hope that arises between people over the course of a decade in a married couple's life. Both films are often cited as "all-time best movies" and are known as "unforgettable masterpieces." Now, these two works are getting a revival release in 4K remastered versions! "All Around Us" returns 18 years after its June 2008 release, and "Hush!" returns a full quarter-century after its production in 2001 (released April 2002). "Hush!" was screened at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival Directors' Fortnight.
