人生の小休止に、南の海辺の町を訪れたタエコは、不思議な一軒宿ハマダに宿泊する。しかし、観光する場所も何もない小さな浜辺の町で、マイペースすぎる住人たちに振り回されるタエコは、耐えかねてハマダを出て行くが……。フィンランドの日本食堂を舞台に、スローライフな日常を描いて話題となった「かもめ食堂」の監督・荻上直子、主演・小林聡美が、今度は南の海辺を舞台に人生を見つめなおす人々をゆるやかに描く。
On a break from life, Taeko visits a southern seaside town and stays at a strange inn called Hamada. However, in a small beach town with nothing to see or do, she is pushed around by the overly laid-back residents and, unable to bear it, leaves Hamada—but... From the director Naoko Ogigami and star Satomi Kobayashi of "Kamome Diner," the hit film about slow-living daily life set in a Japanese restaurant in Finland, comes a gentle portrayal of people re-examining their lives, this time set on a southern beach.
