2008年2月25日から28日にかけてニューヨークのマディソン・スクエア・ガーデンで行われた、エリック・クラプトンとスティーブ・ウィンウッドによるジョイントライブを収録したコンサートフィルム。 バンド「ブラインド・フェイス」で活動をともにしたエリック・クラプトンとスティーブ・ウィンウッドが、「泣きたい気持ち」をはじめとするブラインド・フェイスの楽曲のほか、2人がそれぞれ所属したバンドやソロで発表した楽曲に加え、ジミ・ヘンドリックス、レイ・チャールズ、J・J・ケイルの楽曲のカバーも惜しみなく演奏した。その模様を余すところなく収録し、ライブ会場さながらの臨場感と迫力をスクリーンに映し出す。 日本では2009年に本編90分の「エリック・クラプトン＆スティーヴ・ウィンウッド ライブ・フロム・マジソン・スクエア・ガーデン cine sound ver.」として公開。2026年には、エリック・クラプトンのライブ＆ドキュメンタリー作品を連続上映する「クラプトン・フェスティヴァル」にて、本編140分の「ライヴ・アット・マディソン・スクエア・ガーデン2008」の邦題で公開される。
A concert film capturing the joint live performances by Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood at Madison Square Garden in New York from February 25 to 28, 2008. Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, who performed together in the band Blind Faith, generously perform Blind Faith songs including "Can't Find My Way Home," along with tracks from their respective bands and solo careers, as well as covers of songs by Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, and J.J. Cale. The film captures the entire performance, bringing the excitement and power of the live concert to the big screen. In Japan, it was released in 2009 as the 90-minute "Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood Live from Madison Square Garden cine sound ver." In 2026, it will be released under the Japanese title "Live at Madison Square Garden 2008" with a 140-minute runtime as part of the "Clapton Festival," a series of Eric Clapton live and documentary screenings.
