宇宙人の末裔で超能力を操るバビル2世と、宿敵ヨミの戦いを描く。原作は忍者マンガとスパイマンガの掛け合わせから企画されており、演出の田宮武は東映京都撮影所のアクション感覚も活かした。端正なキャラクター設定は荒木伸吾によるもの。養父母の娘、住み込み先の娘を毎回登場させるのはアニメオリジナルで、硬質な戦いと平和な日常を接続している。全39話。
Depicts the battle between Babil II, a descendant of aliens with psychic powers, and his arch-rival Yomi. The original work was planned from a combination of ninja manga and spy manga, and director Miyabi Tamiya also utilized the action sensibilities of Toei Kyoto Studios. The refined character designs are by Shingo Araki. The anime-original addition of featuring the daughter of his foster parents and the daughter of his live-in place each episode connects the hard-edged battles with peaceful daily life. All 39 episodes.
