「ストロベリーショートケイクス」「風たちの午後」の矢崎仁司監督が1992年に手がけた長編第2作。ベルギー王室主催ルイス・ブニュエル「黄金時代」賞を受賞するなど世界各地の映画祭で話題を呼び、日本でも熱い支持を集めた。兄に思いを寄せ、いつか彼の恋人になりたいと願う妹。ある日、兄が記憶喪失になる。妹は兄に、自分は恋人だと偽って病院から連れ出し、取り壊し間近のアパートで一緒に暮らし始めるが……。兄役に「ガキ帝国」の趙方豪。映画監督の石井岳龍、長崎俊一、山本政志が友情出演。2021年2月、デジタルリマスター版をリバイバル公開。

The second feature film by director Hitoshi Yazaki ('Strawberry Shortcakes,' 'Afternoon Breezes'), made in 1992. It won the Luis Buñuel 'Golden Age' Award at the Brussels International Film Festival and garnered attention at film festivals worldwide, gaining passionate support in Japan as well. A younger sister harbors feelings for her older brother, wishing to one day become his lover. One day, the brother loses his memory. The sister pretends to be his lover, takes him from the hospital, and they begin living together in an apartment slated for demolition... Zhao Fanghao, known for 'Gaki Teikoku,' plays the brother. Film directors Ishii Gakuryu, Nagasaki Shunichi, and Yamamoto Masashi make cameo appearances. A digitally remastered version was re-released in February 2021.
