ポーランドにおけるディストピアSFの先駆者ピョトル・シュルキン監督が1970年代末～80年代の社会主義体制時代に当局の厳しい検閲をくぐり抜けながら制作し、「全体主義からの脱出」というテーマを、強烈な風刺と超現実主義の極致ともいえる作風で描いた暗黒SF4作品のうちの1作。 火星人が地球に襲来した。テレビ司会者の男は「恐れることはない」と人々に伝えてきたが、男のアパートは荒らされ、妻は誘拐されてしまった。毎晩のテレビの台本も変更され、男の目に映る現実は彼が毎晩人々に語っている内容と一致しなくなっていく。 日本では2026年開催の特集上映企画「ポーランド暗黒SF≪文明の終焉4部作≫」（26年2月21日～、シアター・イメージフォーラム）にて劇場初公開。

One of four dark sci-fi works by Piotr Szulkin, a pioneer of dystopian sci-fi in Poland, who created them during the late 1970s and 1980s under the socialist regime, navigating strict censorship. The film depicts the theme of 'escape from totalitarianism' with a style of intense satire and surrealism taken to its extreme. Martians have attacked Earth. A TV host has been telling people 'there is nothing to fear,' but his apartment is ransacked and his wife is kidnapped. The nightly TV script is also changed, and the reality he sees no longer matches what he tells people every night. The film will have its theatrical premiere in Japan as part of the special screening project 'Polish Dark Sci-Fi: The Four Films of Piotr Szulkin' (starting February 21, 2026, at Theater Image Forum).
