Young trombonist Glenn Miller was always in search of a new sound. He joined a prestigious orchestra but left to focus on arranging. The turning point in his music came from his beloved wife Helen. Following her advice, he formed his own band and eventually achieved unprecedented popularity and fame. However, when World War II began, he volunteered for the Air Force. In late 1944, the plane carrying Glenn Miller disappeared over the English Channel... An emotional musical film, with numerous hit songs coloring the love and bond between the couple played by James Stewart and June Allyson!
