The sequel to the Japanese shark film "Onsen Shark," which gained attention for its bizarre premise of ferocious sharks suddenly appearing in hot springs, a place of healing for people. Filming took place across Kyushu, including in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, depicting a fierce battle that engulfs the entire Kyushu region. In Yugo Town, K Prefecture, where the legend of "Shark Taro" has been passed down since ancient times, shrines and designs dedicated to sharks remain throughout the town, preserving the memory of a hero who vanquished the terrifying shark. However, due to the influence of the "Onsen Shark Incident" in Atsumi City, tourist numbers in Yugo Town have declined, and the town has lost its vitality. Hayami Tema, a high school girl dreaming of becoming a musician, accidentally breaks the town's treasured "Shark Taro statue" one night. Shortly after, an incident occurs where a tourist goes missing... Ruka Shibata of "The Taste of Sky" stars as Hayami Tema, with Yo Katsuno playing Tema's grandfather. The cast also reunites actors from the previous film, including Kiyofumi Kaneko and Masaki Naito, and the character "Macho," who became a topic of discussion in the previous film as an existence beyond audience comprehension, also returns. Morito Inoue of the comedy unit "Sontaku's," active in the contemporary art scene, wrote and directed the film again.
