鵜飼有志の人気ライトノベルを原作とする2026年放送のテレビアニメ「死亡遊戯で飯を食う。」の続編で、原作の「クラウディビーチ」編を映像化した劇場版アニメーション。 生還すれば賞金を獲得できる、死と隣り合わせの殺人ゲーム。昨日励まし合った仲間が今日は敵になり、万全を尽くしたとしても命を落とすことがある。そんな命懸けのゲームを99回クリアすることを目指し、ゲームを勝ち抜いて得た賞金で生計を立てる少女・幽鬼（ユウキ）。プレイヤーの生存率が極端に減少するジンクス「三十の壁」を乗り越えて歩き続ける彼女は、44回目のゲーム「クラウディビーチ」に挑むことになる。絶海の孤島に集められた8人のプレイヤーの中には、幽鬼が見知った熟練者の姿もあった。 テレビアニメ版に引き続き、「義妹生活」の上野壮大が監督を務め、スタジオディーンがアニメーション制作を担当。

A sequel to the 2026 TV anime 'Death Game de Meshi o Kū,' based on the popular light novel by Yūshi Ukai, this theatrical anime adapts the original 'Cloudy Beach' arc. A deadly murder game where survival earns you prize money. Allies you encouraged yesterday can become enemies today, and even with full preparation, you can lose your life. The girl Yūki aims to clear this life-or-death game 99 times, making a living from the prize money she wins. Overcoming the 'Wall of Thirty'—a jinx where player survival rates drop drastically—she continues forward and takes on her 44th game, 'Cloudy Beach.' Among the eight players gathered on a remote island, Yūki spots a familiar veteran. Continuing from the TV anime, Sōda Ueno of 'Stepsister Life' directs, with animation production by Studio Deen.
